Formpipe Software and Capgemini have been chosen to deliver digital transformation for the Danish Agricultural Agency
As a result of their first strategic collaboration, Formpipe Software and Capgemini in Denmark have won the tender for delivering application development and maintenance, system operation, and support of the entire ‘CAP-TAS’ platform1 of the Danish Agricultural Agency. The contract value constitutes DKK 200-250 million. Used for managing EU's agricultural funding, the ‘CAP-TAS’ platform is a crucial tool for Danish agriculture.
Based on their deep insight into the Danish Agricultural Agency’s business and system landscape, Formpipe Software and Capgemini will collaborate to deliver a team of experts to the Danish Agricultural Agency Together, the two organizations offer market leading knowledge of the European agricultural industry and food sector with strong local domain insight.

The contract will be in force for the next four years, with the possibility of one year’s extension up to three times. The current supplier will hand over the assignment to Formpipe and Capgemini during the winter of 2022/23.

Many years of collaboration with the Danish Agricultural Agency has provided Formpipe with deep domain knowledge of the CAP-TAS platform, which the software firm has been developing for the past 15 years. The new agreement will expand the collaboration, with the addition of Capgemini's expertise in the agriculture sector.

The CAP-TAS platform facilitates the allocation of EU subsidies to Danish farmers by means of an automated and digital process; This is a relatively complex and cumbersome process based on complicated rules. The automation of the process has brought about a wide range of advantages – for example, reduced case processing time, minimised level of failure rates, and optimisation of the agricultural industry’s user experience.
