Formpipe receives order from Fresenius Kabi

Fresenius Kabi has signed a contract for Platina QMS to manage and streamline their quality documentation.

The order covers Fresenius Kabi’s business in Sweden with 1,000 employees at two production sites in Uppsala and Brunna

Fresenius Kabi chose Platina QMS after a thorough evaluation of several systems. The system will primarily increase efficiency and control when handling the company’s quality documentation. An important requirement was preconfigured workflows for approval and training of the regulated documents.

"We were looking for a new electronic system to manage our GxP critical documents. A standard system that could replace the one we have developed ourselves and thereby decrease the risk of having to maintain and further develop the system on our own. Platina QMS can manage the complete life cycle of our quality documents from initiation and approval to training and withdrawal. All by using the preconfigured workflows that also include electronic signatures", says Stefan Söderblom, Manager QA IT, System & Process management, Quality Assurance at Fresenius Kabi.

The implementation project also includes migration of all documents with attachments from the old system.
